Subject: Welcome Rebecca Wu, Financial Analyst for Econ/Posc

Dear Professors, Students, and Colleagues,

I am delighted to introduce Rebecca Wu as our new Financial Analyst. That’s right, we have TWO new financial analysts! Rebecca joins us from UCR’s Bourns College of Engineering where she was a payroll analyst for over 5 years. Rebecca developed a deep understanding of payroll processes that will be essential in the departments payroll reconciliation process. Additionally, Rebecca is training to take on contracts and grants management. We’re excited to have her on board, and her skills will be a valuable asset to our department.

You can find Rebecca on the fourth floor of Sproul on Monday’s and Wednesday’s, sharing an office with our other amazing financial analyst, Amy Yin. Her focus will be on cost transfers, ledger reconciliation, grad student employment, student financial awards, international scholars, and contracts and grants. During her time here, she’ll be available to assist with any Grad student hiring questions and is eager to collaborate with each of you.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Rebecca as she transitions into her new role with us. Feel free to reach out or introduce yourself when you see her in the office.
