[Poscgrad] Symposium Next Tuesday!

Happy Monday, everyone!

I am happy to share that PSA's *Emerging Scholars Symposium *is finalized
and we have quite the lineup this year. Please see the attached for full
details, but here are the highlights:

   - *Dr. David Pion-Berlin* will provide opening remarks with a talk on *What
   Mentorship Has Meant to Me.*
   - *Siqi Chen *will be presenting their literature review on the collapse
   of collaboration during the Euro Crisis.
   - Two undergrads will be presenting. This includes *Michelle Wang*'s *Danger
   Zone for* POSC125 and *Melody Nuguyen'*s *Spin Dictators *for POSC157S*.
   **Dr. Jeremy Busacca *nominated these papers.
   - *Mayor* *Kevin Bash *of Norco, CA, will give a keynote address on *the
   intersection of Academia and Politics*.
   - We will be serving *free tacos *with vegan and chicken options!
   - *Donna Perez* will provide closing remarks with a talk on *A Vibrant
   Political Science Community.*

I encourage everyone in the department to attend to support these *emerging
scholars*! At the very least, *stop by between 2:30 and 3:30 to grab some
tacos!*
