Hi All.

Happy Monday. The building's data ports underwent an update over the weekend, resulting in some disruptions to ethernet connectivity. The IT department is aware of the issue and has contacted the network division for resolution. However, the estimated time for a fix is one to two days. To mitigate inconvenience, I recommend that faculty and staff use Euroam for laptop connections.

If you have a desktop and are experiencing connectivity issues, please try to re-start it could potentially fix the issue, however if it still continues, you will have to wait for this issue to be fixed.

As well, the update is also impacting the printer in Watkins Hall, so printing will necessitate the use of a flash drive, or please reach out to @Russell Kondoker<mailto:rkond005 at ucr.edu> or marly.attia at email.ucr.edu<mailto:marly.attia at email.ucr.edu> who are our student assistants that can facilitate printing assistance.
