Hi All

I’m sending you all a DRAFT version of the schedule for colloquium next quarter

A couple of things

- there are 5 off campus speakers noted in blue font
plus the Jan 24th SCPB conference which will have the post-event taco get together

- Feb 7th is a day for those of you who wish to practice your conference presentations for MW or WPSA
Adam will talk about the nuts and bolts of applying for money to help attend. And 1 person so far is going
to present. Let me know if you want to present. The format will be to give a 10-12 minute version of the paper
(which is mostly the time limit for conferences)

   There will be pizza

- Jan 6th will be the introduction of the class project. Adam and Rudra are putting together a resource on
grants for grad students. We will see if we can crowd source help for that

—There will be 2 presentations from on-campus resources. Jan 27th will be about teaching (hopefully where we share
tips/discuss issues) and Feb 10th will be the Ombudsman to talk about dealing with conflict

Like all schedules.. this one is tentative and subject to change.

Shaun
