[Poscgrad] Reminder - PSA Course Paper Nominations

[Pi Sigma Alpha Honors Society]

Greetings graduate students,

The purpose of this email is to ask for your help in *selecting a paper
from your Winter 2023 course that you or fellow TAs think deserves
recognition*.

Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis for each term up until *April
10th, 2023,* so our board can review each nomination based on a *rubric *(we
will provide a copy for you as finals week approaches). That means you can
nominate a paper from your course in Fall, Winter, or Spring before the
deadline    As soon as all entries are evaluated, we will contact you to
inform you of our selection and we can discuss how to inform the student.

Here are the broad parameters for nominations:

   - Presents original ideas
   - Draws on recognized literature
   - Includes citations and other scholarly sources
   - Contributes to one political science's subfields

*Here is what we need from you *(whichever applies to you)

   - If you are not instructing or TAing this term, please forward this
   email to anyone you think may find this information useful
   - If you are instructing any *undergraduate *courses, nominate *one *
   paper
   - If you are TAing any *undergraduate *courses, speak to your primary
   instructor about any papers you think are worthy of recognition

If you would like, we could even have one of our officers speak with you or
your class about this opportunity in detail, just let us know when and
where you'd like us!

Coordinator) to assist with any questions or concerns.
