[Poscgrad] newsletter

Dear colleagues,

we are working on putting together a department newsletter and revamping 
the front page of our website - and we need stuff to populate both.

For the website and newsletter:

  * Please send me information about publications in the last 6-12
    months that you would like featured. Also include a photo of book
    cover, journal cover, or front page of article (some photo is
    required for website).
  * Any recent news (placements, grants, honors, events, etc.)

For newsletter:

  * We would like to highlight couple of faculty and/or students with
    shortish discussion of recent publication or research projects. 
    These should be written in accessible language (ie. not geared
    solely towards academics). Let me know if you are interested.
  * We would like to highlight some of our alumni (where are they now,
    what are they working on, etc) - if you have any suggestions, let me
    know.
  * Anything else you think belongs in the newsletter.
