1. Call For Proposals for #PRIEC-CGU-UCR
Dear Colleagues,
We are inviting presentation proposals for the Politics of Race,
Immigration, and Ethnicity Consortium (PRIEC) meeting at Claremont Graduate
College (CGU), to take place on Friday February 16, 2024. This meeting will
be co-hosted by UC Riverside. We anticipate that the conference will start
around 9, run all day, and end with a happy hour and dinner reception. The
meeting will be in person and will be held on CGU’s campus in Claremont,
CA, which is about 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
While we will consider all applicants, *we strongly encourage papers
related to issues of space, place, context, and belonging*. No formal paper
is required for submission but to be considered for the program you should
submit your title and abstract in *THIS FORM*

PRIEC is an ideal venue for sharing your research ideas at any stage. We
generally highlight work by academic scholars, including social scientists
across various disciplines, and from all ranks, including graduate
students. At the same time, we are very open to presentations by policy
practitioners and/or those who conduct community-engaged research.
Presentations are 10-12 minutes and we set aside time for comments and
discussion.
