[Poscgrad] Deadline TODAY - PSA Best Papers

Greetings graduate students,


This email is to remind you that *today is the last day to submit papers
for our board's review! *Please help us get as many submissions as possible
by *submitting at least one undergraduate paper today.* This can be an
amazing opportunity to refine students' interests and overall improve the
department. The authors of nominated papers can expect the following
opportunities:


   1. Special workshops to refine their paper
   2. Get personalized feedback on how to improve their writing ability
   3. One-on-one support in submitting their paper for publication through
   UCR's *The Journal*
   4. The potential to present their research at our *Research Symposium *

Here are the broad parameters for nominations:

   - Presents original ideas
   - Draws on recognized literature
   - Includes citations and other scholarly sources
   - Contributes to one political science's subfield


*Here is what we need from you *(whichever applies to you)

   - If you are instructing any *undergraduate *courses, *nominate *one
   paper (feel free to have your TAs nominate a paper in your name)
   - If you are TAing any *under**graduate *courses, *speak to your primary
   instructor about any papers you think are worthy of recognition*


Again, submissions are due *TODAY *so please don't hesitate to reach out if
you have any questions, comments, or concerns. I have cc'd our Programs
Coordinator, Juan Carlos Anderson, and our Secretary, Manuel Alvarez, to
help with any questions or concerns you might have.
