The CGU Inequality and Policy Research Center will host this year’s 
California Workshop in Empirical Political Science 
<https://caliweps.com/>, CaliWEPS V. <https://caliweps.com/conference/>

The conference will be *Friday, June 3.* It will be *fully online via 
Zoom*, with no in-person participation.

Would you circulate the following information among your doctoral 
students to encourage their attendance and participation?

The following recaps key details of the conference.

 1.
    The 2022 CaliWEPS V Conference Program is attached and available
    online

    The workshop consists of no-presentation discussions of working
    papers and research designs. Presenters are given five minutes to
    introduce their paper, followed by comments by a faculty discussant,
    and then an open discussion.
 2. All participants (presenting and non-presenting) are expected to
    read the selected papers in advance and be prepared to comment.
    Active participation supports future consideration as presenters.
