[Poscgrad] Social Science Advocacy Day Today

Hi All,

CHASS Dean Daryle Williams, Associate Deans Gloria González-Rivera
and Kiril Tomoff, and Director of Federal Relations Kathy Eiler are meeting
virtually with several elected officials today *Tuesday, March 29th*, as
part of COSSA’s 2022 Virtual Social Science Advocacy Day

Our CHASS contingent are scheduled to meet with the offices of Sen. Alex
Padilla CA-S (D), Sen. Dianne Feinstein CA-S (D), and Rep. Mark Takano
CA-41 (D). In total, 71 COSSA advocates from 23 states will visit 90
offices in the House and Senate to advocate for increased funding for the
social sciences.
