We are looking for broadly trained specialists in U.S. National Politics and are open to a wide variety of research and teaching interests, such as U.S. political institutions, political behavior, identity and politics, race and ethnicity, voting rights, constitutional law, civil liberties, and public policy. The department has nine full-time faculty positions in Comparative Politics, International Relations, Political Theory, and U.S. National Politics. We typically graduate approximately 50 majors annually, many of whom pursue advanced study or careers in public policy, law, research, political campaigns and public service, or a wide variety of social justice and community organizing initiatives.
