Hello,

Could you share the attached job opportunity with UCR folk? It's a 12 month
(renewable) research position with OES. It is remote. Happy to serve as
reference/discuss OES with anyone interested.

Best,
Michelangelo

Hi all,

As we mentioned in Lab, we are looking to add a full-time Data Scientist to
the OES Methods Team this spring. If you know anyone who might be a good
fit for the position, please send them our way! I've attached the posting
to this email; please feel free to shoot me an email or chat if you have
any questions.

Here is the email text we've been circulating on relevant job listservs:

We are excited to announce that the GSA Office of Evaluation Sciences (OES)
<http://oes.gsa.gov/> is currently accepting applications for a Data
Scientist position, beginning September 2022. View solicitation here
<https://oes.gsa.gov/opps/>. Applicants may apply by emailing oes at gsa.gov
with their resume and cover letter by May 8, 2022 at 11:59pm ET.

Data Scientist Position Details: The Data Scientist will join a small team
of experts in the design and statistical analysis of randomized and
quasi-experimental evaluations. The Data Scientist will directly support
high priority evaluations and descriptive studies, cleaning, coding,
merging and analyzing large and complex federal data.

Based at the General Services Administration (GSA), OES is a team of
interdisciplinary experts <https://oes.gsa.gov/team/> that works across
government to help agencies build and use evidence. To date, OES has
completed over 90 randomized evaluations <http://oes.gsa.gov/work> with
dozens of agency partners. OES follows best practices in social science
research to build evidence in order to be a leader in transparency and
accountability <http://oes.gsa.gov/methods>.

Please share this announcement and send any questions to oes at gsa.gov.

Thank you!

Best,
Oliver
