[Piwrs_coordinators] Fiscal Closing Letter-FY2023

Dear Colleagues,

The campus closing schedule for this year-end has been finalized.  FY2023 is the last fiscal closing using UCRFS and the current Full Accounting Unit (FAU) before the campus transitions to Oracle.  The schedule is different than prior years to accomplish both the usual UC reporting/audit requirements and one-time Oracle data conversion activities.  The departmental tasks/deadlines, conversion dates and blackout are described in the attached document; please carefully review and plan accordingly.  All closing materials will be published under the Business & Financial Services website under the General Accounting Resource section as they become available: https://accounting.ucr.edu/fiscal-year-end-closing

Beginning with FY2024, UCR will modernize our campus financial system by implementing Oracle Financials/Oracle Budget, and all financial applications will begin using the new Chart of Accounts.  Please visit the www.Impact23.ucr.edu<http://www.Impact23.ucr.edu> for additional information.
