This is a friendly reminder about our upcoming Frontiers of Cosmology
Lecture, hosted by the Department of Physics & Astronomy at UC Riverside.
We hope you will join us for an engaging evening of science, conversation,
and community. We are honored to welcome Professor Adam Riess of Johns
Hopkins University, a 2011 Nobel Laureate in Physics for the discovery of
cosmic acceleration known as "Dark Energy." The event is titled the
"Frontiers of Cosmology Lecture: The Surprising Expansion History of the
Universe." It will feature introductory remarks by UCR Provost Elizabeth
Watkins.
