[Physics-staff] Staffing Updates

Good morning Team,

These past few months have been extremely busy for all of us and there have been some staffing changes since our last Department Staff Meeting. Therefore, I am emailing you to inform you of the most recent hires and recruitments statuses:


  *   We have filled our purchasing assistant position -Valerie Corral was the successful candidate hired. She has a bachelor's degree in business and comes to us from the Menifee School district where she worked as an admin assistant and had purchasing tasks under her purview.  Her start date is Monday, November 6th.
  *   We have filled our financial srvcs I position- Abigail Brevo was the successful candidate hired. She has a bachelor's degree in business and was a payroll specialist at the district attorney's office. Her start date is Wednesday, October 25th.
  *   C&G 1 - To replace Paulo has concluded,  we are in final stages of the recruitment. We hope this candidate will start soon, targeted start date is mid-November.
  *   C&G 2 -To replace Julissa- Job has been posted. We will be interviewing late this week, beginning of next week with a targeted start date end-November.

Admin Schedules

Marissa's schedule- Effective today, Marissa will be working an 8:30-5pm schedule.

Other

Reminder of our Halloween costume and potluck this Thursday at 11:30am in the Barkas Lounge, don't forget to dress up as a Mad Scientist and sign up to bring your favorite dish with Arianna.
