[Physics-staff] Thank you Physics

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Today is officially my last day with Physics.  Effective tomorrow, I will be 100% in Entomology.  Please know, due staff shortages, I am aware there some unfinished business that needs to be resolved.  I will continue to work closely with Guille and Dominica to wrap up these items as well as the finance team as we wrap up year-end closing.

I want to thank each of you that provided me with new challenges which resulted in many learning opportunities.  Coming into a department during a pandemic was difficult but we survived!!  As UCR is starting to learn what our new normal is, I'm confident the new management team has the skillset necessary to provide you with proper guidance and leadership.

Thank you again for this experience and I wish you all the very best.
