[Physics-grads-open] Physics & Astronomy Departmental GSA Elections for 2021-2022

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well!  This is Tim Gburek, President of the
Physics & Astronomy Departmental Graduate Student Association (PADGSA).  To
my knowledge, this is the first test of the new physics-grads-open listserv
allowing us graduate students to communicate en masse, so I hope that this
email has found you.

I am writing to announce that the PADGSA has set a date for officer
elections for the 2021-2022 academic year.  We will have a brief elections
meeting (possibly with some brief updates) this coming Monday (7/12) at 4pm
on Zoom (info below).  All positions are open for election.  These
positions are:

- President (I will not be running as I am hoping to graduate soon)
- Vice-President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Public Relations
- Recruitment Chair

If you are interested in running for any of these positions, or would like
information on any of the positions' duties / responsibilities / potential
(or information on the GSA as a whole) feel free to contact me at
