[Physics-grads-announce] Townhall and Special event

Dear Graduate students,

A gentle reminder that the graduate student townhall is this Thursday April 11th at 3:40 pm in WCH 138. Hope you can attend.

In addition I'd like to encourage you all to attend a very special event at UCR on Tuesday, April 30th starting at 1pm honoring Professor Barry Barish, who was recently awarded the National Medal of Science.  The keynote speaker for this event will be Art McDonald, 2015 Nobel Laureate in Physics.  This is a very special opportunity to hear about some of the most exciting research in physics from two very distinguished scientists.
