Dear P&A grad students,

There is a problem that could affect classes for some of you. Many of you have not yet been officially enrolled because you did not send, or just recently sent, your enrollment requests to Derek and/or you did not request classes that you are required to take. Also, some of you have holds on your registrations for various reasons. Because today is both the first day that staff are back to work and the first day of classes, there are a number of you with these issues that won’t be resolved before class time. Derek is working to get everyone into the proper classes, but it is a slow process as he needs to go student by student.

The major associated problem is that you may not be in the iLearn system for all of your classes yet. Also, when Derek does enroll you, it takes a day or two before you show up in iLearn. The faculty generally use the enrollments they see in iLearn to get the list of students to send emails to, or some of them just assume that you have looked at the iLearn site to get the Zoom links for your classes. Thus, you may not be on the iLearn roster for a class that you plan to take and may not have the proper Zoom link for the class.

So, you should go to iLearn (https://ilearn.ucr.edu <https://ilearn.ucr.edu/>) to see what classes show up and if the Zoom info is there. If there is a class that you plan to take but you don’t see it on iLearn and/or don’t have the Zoom link, please contact the instructors ASAP. You should ask the instructor to enroll you manually so that you can start classes on time while you work out your particular situation (with Derek’s assistance if needed).

Happy New Year!!!
