[Orgvpdue] Welcome - Andrea Martinez-Frausto, Kessler Scholars Program Coordinator

Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to announce that Andrea Martinez-Frausto will join the
Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) as the Kessler Scholars Program
<https://ue.ucr.edu/kessler> Coordinator, starting today, March 3.

Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at
California State University Los Angeles, and a master’s degree in Higher
Education at Cal State Fullerton.  She comes to us with several years’
experience working in student leadership development and event programming
in university settings. Andrea served as a Graduate Assistant to the
Associate Students Program at Cal State Fullerton, and in Residence Life
programming at Cal Poly Pomona.  In2022, she joined the staff at Cal State
Dominguez Hills as Programs Coordinator for Loker Student Union, where she
advanced student engagement and provided students with opportunities to
develop leadership and programming skills. As our Kessler Coordinator,
Andrea will be responsible for enhancing educational opportunities and
academic progress to degree completion for Kessler Scholars who tend to be
first generation, Pell-eligible, and students of color.
