[Orgvpdue] Volunteers Needed for Highlander Family Weekend

Dear DUE Colleagues,

The Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) is partnering with the Office
of Alumni Relations’ Highlander Family Network to host the
first Highlander Family Weekend from Friday, November 7 through Sunday,
November 9. This event, co-signed by Provost Liz Watkins gives
us an opportunity to engage with students and their families
by showcasing what makes our department special. More importantly, our
participation as members of DUE will support the ongoing strategic goals,
including:



·       An improved sense of inclusion and belonging for both students and
their families

·       Boosting student participation in High Impact Practices

·       And building ecologies of holistic student support



Volunteer participation is needed from our organization during Friday,
November 7 and Saturday, November 8 activities. Please encourage your staff
to sign up either day(s). It can be one hour on Friday or two hours on
Saturday. Whatever works best with their schedule.
