[Orgvpdue] Highlander Family Weekend - November 7 - 9, 2025

Dear Colleagues,



The Highlander Family Network and the Division of Undergraduate Education
are proud to announce the first Highlander Family Weekend scheduled for
Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 9, 2025. This event is an
exciting opportunity for the campus to welcome the family members of our
Highlanders, share in the festivities of Homecoming, and continue to build
community with families to collectively promote student success at UC
Riverside.



A special thank you to Provost Watkins for her commitment to both student
and family success as we prepare for this special event.



Below is a tentative schedule:



*Friday, November 7 (2-7 p.m.):*

·         Botanic Gardens Tour: 2-3 p.m. at the Botanic Gardens

·         Student Performance Showcase: 3-5 p.m. at the Barn

·         Family BINGO: 5-7 p.m. at the Barn *Dinner included



*Saturday, November 8 (9 a.m.-4 p.m.):*

·         Parent Meeting & Check-in: 9-11 a.m. at UNLH *Breakfast included

·         Campus Showcase: 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at various schools/colleges or
campus locations

·         Homecoming concert from 1–4 p.m.



*Sunday, November 9 (9 a.m.-12 p.m.):*

·         Self-guided City Showcase: Mt. Rubidoux, Riverside Library, Game
Lab, UCR Arts, The Cheech, etc.
