[Orgvpdue] Gender Recognition and Lived Name Policy

Good morning UE,

On Thursday, August 18th at 10 am, we will have a virtual workshop and training regarding the implementation of the systemwide Gender Recognition and Lived Name (GRLN) Policy<https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/news/2020/11/president-drake-announces-new-presidential-policy-on-gender-recognition-and-lived-name.html>. Additional resources can be found here<https://chancellor.ucr.edu/gender-recognition-and-lived-name-committee>. Nancy Jean Tubbs<mailto:nancy.tubbs at ucr.edu>, Director of the LGBT Resource Center, will be hosting this event.

A pre-requisite for the meeting is completion of the training entitled, "Gender Recognition: A Focus on Transgender, Nonbinary, and Intersex Awareness," go to https://ucrlearning.ucr.edu/ and search for "Gender Recognition."
