[Orgvpdue] Staffing Opportunities for Commencement 2022

UE Colleagues,

The 68th Commencement Ceremonies at UC Riverside will take place June 3-4 and June 10-13, 2022. Ceremonies will be held in both the Student Recreation Center and on Pierce Lawn. In an effort to create a memorable experience for our students and their families, Student Affairs is inviting our staff and faculty to participate in one or more ceremonies.

Commencement staff must register online at https://myadv.ucr.edu/forms/2022volunteer. Roles can include assisting with graduate check-in and line-up, faculty and Administrative Party regalia distribution, greeting and directing guests as they arrive, or answering student or guest questions, etc. If you are interested in participating, please select the day(s)<https://myadv.ucr.edu/forms/2022volunteer>. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

Career staff in Undergraduate Education are eligible to receive a day off during a regular work week for each weekend day (Friday evening through Sunday) in which they are staffing a UCR commencement ceremony. The days off must be approved by your unit supervisor and take place after the days in which you staff for ceremonies. The Time, Attendance, and Reporting System (TARS) will not have a record of days owed, and days taken will be recorded as regular work days.
