[Oraclefinancials-depttransactors] Blanket PO Guidance for Next Fiscal Year

Dear Colleagues,

In regards to the fiscal closing deadline
<https://accounting.ucr.edu/FY25-Year-End-Close> for Blanket POs, Friday,
May 16 at 5 pm, it is important to note that you cannot future date the
budget year. The budget year must be the current fiscal year 2025.

The year-end PO carryforward process will automatically move all eligible
POs into the next fiscal year.

As you create and approve Blanket POs to meet the deadline, it is helpful
to reference the *fiscal year the expenses relate to* in the PO line
*description
field*.

Attend upcoming office hours <https://bfs.ucr.edu/bfs-calendar> (Procure to
Pay or Fiscal Close) if you have questions related to this matter.
