Good afternoon!

Congratulations on your admission to the University of California, Riverside! On behalf of the Academic Resource Center (ARC), I would like to welcome you the UCR community.

My name is Nina Aguila and I am the Transfer Success Program Coordinator within the ARC. Through our various department programs and services, the Academic Resource Center empowers all undergraduate students to grow intellectually and personally as they pursue their goals. Furthermore, through ongoing transfer-focused initiatives, the Transfer Success Program connects transfer scholars to success services in an effort to empower them in their academic, professional, and personal endeavors while assisting scholars in navigating the university system.

We understand how transferring to a new institution can be daunting and we are here to support all transfer scholars through this process. The Transfer Success Program offers a summer Transition & Success Series and we invite you to attend.

Our goal is to support incoming transfer scholars in their transition to UCR prior to the 2022 – 2023 academic year. Throughout this 6-week series, you will meet transfer peers, engage with campus staff, and develop skills that will help you prepare for success at UCR! The Series is completely free and completely optional. Sessions will be held virtually via Zoom beginning Tuesday, July 26th – Thursday, September 1st, every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00am – 1:00pm. There will be in-person opportunities offered throughout the series.

Registration is now open and will close on Wednesday, July 20th. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 – 48 hours (business days) after registering. There are limited spots available so RSVP is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Note that to truly benefit from the series, attendance to all sessions is highly recommended.
