*Jeongwon Ham (Frieda Derdeyn Bambas Professor of Music at the University
of Oklahoma) will perform a recital of the following works:*
J.S. Bach, *Chaconne in D Minor* (arranged for piano by Ferruccio Busoni);
F. Chopin,* Ballade No. 1 *in G minor, Op.23;
S. Rachmaninoff, *Vocalise* (transcribed for piano by Earl Wild);

E. Wild, *Virtuoso Etude No. 4 *(based on “Embraceable You” by George
Gershwin)

After the event, we'll head to the Barn at 1pm for *Miércoles de
música* (organized
by Dr. Liz Przybylski; I'll lead us all there next week), which are
