[Microplantpath_faculty] Perishable Package Storage

Good afternoon,

As you are all aware, because of Boyce's closure, we were unable to run
receiving operations in Boyce.

We had Central Receiving hold all packages coming in starting Wednesday.
Since this closure has gone on longer than anticipated, we made plans for
the storage of perishable packages.

Currently, all perishable packages will be delivered to Spieth as they have
graciously offered to help us while Boyce freezers and fridges are down.

If you need to pick up any of these packages from Spieth, they can be
picked up at Spieth 1229, which closes today at 4:30pm. I will be receiving
a report from Central Receiving telling me what perishable packages are
being sent to Spieth. I will notify all when I get that report. Should you
need to contact someone at Spieth, you can reach Jon Allan (jonallen at ucr.edu)
during his working hours.

All packages that aren't temperature sensitive will be held at Central
Receiving in the Corporation Yard and will be redelivered when Boyce is
reopened. Central Receiving is also open until 4:30pm today.

MPP department liquid nitrogen delivery to Webber has been rescheduled for
tomorrow.
Biochemistry department liquid nitrogen delivery to Boyce Hall will be
attempted on Monday, pending building access once the facility is reopened.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this situation. We are
working to provide updates as we get them and hope to have this resolved
and operations back to normal as soon as possible.
