Robert Trombly, DDS, JD

Bradley Henson, DDS, PhD

Assistant Professor, College of Dental Medicine  - Western University of
Health Sciences

 

 

Dr. Trombly and Dr. Henson will provide an overview of

career opportunities in the dental profession,

the life of a dental student and

insight into today's highly competitive admissions process to the 58 dental
schools across the country.

 

         

Dr. Trombly moved to WesternU in September 2007 from the University of
Colorado, where he served on the faculty for many years as the Associate
Dean for Clinical Affairs, and later as the Associate Dean for Curriculum
and Community Affairs.  His background also includes a general practice
residency, private dental practice, private law practice and consulting in
the insurance industry. 

 

Dr. Henson received his DDS and PhD degrees from the University of Michigan
and most recently was an Assistant Professor In-Residence in the Division of
Oral Biology at the UCLA School of Dentistry.  His primary research interest
is to identify the molecular events that predict the biological behavior of
individual head and neck cancerous tumors.  Recently, he was a member of a
team pioneering the use of salivary biomarkers for the early detection of
head and neck tumors.   

 

Directions:  Enter Spieth/LSP (316) across from the Genomics Bldg (482) on
Eucalyptus and across from the Biological Sciences Bldg (186).  Spieth/LSP
2550 is the Cell Biology and Neurosciences Conference Room.
