[Mathemeritus] Travel/Purchasing Staffing update

Dear All,

As some of you know, Joyce is currently out on maternity leave. To assist us with travel and purchasing related items during her leave, we have hired temporary staff that will assist during her absence. We will have assistance from Sophia Jurisch in the Statistics department and Demi Kim, who has previously served as a backup for us in this area in late 2019/early 2020. Demi will begin in early February, but I wanted to alert you to these two staff that you may receive communication from in addition to our existing staff and student assistant team. In order to ensure that your inquiries/requests are addressed in a timely manner, we have created a centralized email for the finance team. Please forward all inquiries related to purchasing, travel or reimbursement to mathfinance at ucr.edu<mailto:mathfinance at ucr.edu> and they will be addressed by the appropriate contact.
