[LOGOS] Fwd: [Faculty] Request for Proposals: Creation of a new Campus Interdisciplinary Research Center

Hi all,
full disclosure, there is a plan underway to create a proposal for an AI
institute at UCR. This is an idea we are working together with Amit
(Robotics Center) given the common interests in AI/ML. It is very recent
(we had a mtg last week with the Provost and VCRED to explore if there is
interest on something like this). I think LOGOS and the DS and Robotics
Centers can be part of this effort. The proposed center should include
people from different colleges/schools.

faculty at all academic levels), the Provost and the Vice
Chancellor for Research and Economic Development invite

Additional CIRCs may be created in the future based on the
