Dear LOGOS team,
I apologize – I am leaving town tomorrow and so I have to finish up creating replication materials for an accepted paper today, and I am running out of time, so I won't be able to attend.
I'm super glad to contribute to our conversations about seeing external funding. A lot of other universities already have centers for the study of AI and language models and so it makes sense for us to think at that scale.
See you all in the next meeting.
Kevin

Subject: [LOGOS] Meeting tomorrow and calendar event
Hi Everyone,
A reminder that we will be having our second meeting tomorrow (Tue Jan 23rd) at 1pm. In person at WCH415 and on Zoom<https://ucr.zoom.us/j/94346366729?pwd=dWkwSVdwcTFoVGlPdnhTdHlpRnV1Zz09>.
Masud has kindly volunteered to present his work on GeekMan ("user matching on steroids," cit.). We will also be having some discussion about potential funding avenues.
I also realized that any time I added new people joining the LOGOS group on the calendar invite, everyone was getting spammed with another set of email/cal invites. It seems a better solution to use a standalone ics file instead, which I can send only once or if there are any updates, and you can simply import to your calendar client -- please see attached, let me know if there are any issues.
Cheers,
--
