Dear all,

We are excited to announce the *Florence Nightingale David Research
Symposium* organized by the Department of Statistics Diversity, Equity, and
Inclusion Committee.

This one-day event will showcase undergraduate and graduate research in
statistics and data science, honoring Florence Nightingale David—a
trailblazer in statistics and a champion for equity in STEM.

📅 *Date:* Friday, June 6
🕚 *Time:* 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 *Location:* Olmsted Hall

The symposium will feature:
– Oral and poster presentations by undergraduate and graduate students
– A graduate student panel
– A closing reception with light refreshments
– Awards for outstanding oral and poster presentations
