Hi All,
I have emphasized many times the importance of timely communication and
mutual respect within the group. Despite previous reminders, there are
still group members failing to meet these expectations, I'm sending this
email as a last reminder. *Beginning next quarter, eligibility to receive
research credits will be contingent upon meeting these basic expectations.*
Below I'm attaching the expectations clarified in a previous email.
1. Please ensure prompt responses to group emails and messages by regularly
checking your inbox on workdays. Aim to reply to emails received in the
morning on the same day and those in the late afternoon no later than the
following day (unless otherwise noted in the emails).
2. If you plan to take days off that may impact projects or email
responses, seek approval before the intended leave rather than notifying
afterward.
3. Submit your timesheets in the university's system on time.
4. Attend individual or group meetings on time. If you anticipate a delay,
inform the group in advance. Group meetings will commence on time, so be
prepared to arrive a few minutes early.
5. Read papers and update the shared google doc along the process. The
minimum requirement is one paper per week on average. Depending on your
project stage, you may need to read much more at certain times.
Thank you for your attention to these matters. Let's collaborate to ensure
a productive and respectful environment within the group.
Best,
Vivian
