[Lilab] Lab and file security

Hi All,

Recently, one of our fellow students experienced the unfortunate theft of
their laptop, prompting me to remind everyone about the crucial need for
lab security and file backup.

Please avoid leaving your computer devices or personal belongings
unattended. Be vigilant about your surroundings even if you are on campus.

There are some cabinets under your assigned desks at MRB. If you would like
to get one so that you can lock your personal belongings inside the
cabinets, please look for the keyhole number and arrange a time with me to
pick up the key.

I'd also like to highlight the importance of utilizing automatic sync-up
services like Dropbox or Box for seamless file backup. These services offer
real-time synchronization, ensuring that your files are constantly backed
up without requiring manual intervention. This ensures your files and data
are safe in the event of loss or damage. I'd like everyone to have such a
service setup by the end of Week 5. Please let me know once you are done
with the setup.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, feel free to bring them
up in group meetings.
