I'm sending an email to let you know about the exciting umbrella program we have for first year-graduate training in Genetics & Genomics at NC State University, with the hopes that you can spread the news and maybe know a great undergraduate who might be interested. Our first cohort is here and fantastic and we have great support from the Provost for this initiative. One of the first umbrella programs at NC State. Here's a link for information about the GG Scholars program: <a href="https://ggi.ncsu.edu/graduate-program/" target="_blank" class="">https://ggi.ncsu.edu/graduate-program/</a> and I've attached the flyer if you don't mind passing it around, forwarding it to your colleagues at other universities, or putting it up on a message board. <span style="font-family: UniversLight, arial, sans-serif;" class="">Cultural and scientific diversity is key to the GG Scholars program, and applications are encouraged from students identifying with groups typically underrepresented in STEM fields.</span> This year we gathered students from undergraduate institutions throughout the NE, SE USA and would like to get both broader national and international representation.
