"The National Science Foundation's Biofoundry for Extreme and Exceptional
Fungi, Archaea, and Bacteria (NSF ExFAB) at UC Riverside and UC Santa
Barbara is hosting a one-week, fully-funded intensive program this Summer,
that's open to faculty members and researchers, with *program applications
closing at the end of this month, April 30th, 2026 at 11:59PM PDT.*

*Summer School*
The ExFAB Summer School (*July 27th-31st at UCSB*), will provide in-depth
technical training, enabling researchers to leverage ExFAB’s unique suite
of instrumentation for their own research.

* In-Depth Modules on:*
- Data and Automation
- High Through-put Microscopy
- Automated Liquid Handling
- Metabolomics and Mass Spectrometry

Academic Keynote: Trent Northen, Environmental Genomics and Systems Biology
Division at Berkeley Lab
Industry Panel: Mike Berke and Frank Madoux from Amgen, Shirley Ng Palace
