*Abstract:*
Understanding biomolecular structure and dynamics is essential for
uncovering the chemical basis of life and enabling therapeutic discovery.
While new chemical modalities have expanded the range of druggable targets,
many diseases remain difficult to treat due to challenges in studying
dynamic proteins and ligands in solution.

In this seminar, I will present our efforts to advance Microcrystal
Electron Diffraction (MicroED) as a tool for high-resolution structural
biology. MicroED enables structure determination from nanocrystals that are
inaccessible to conventional X-ray methods and is being extended beyond
static structures to probe molecular flexibility and dynamics. Our
approaches include structure determination from powdered samples and the
use of dataset clustering to reveal conformational heterogeneity. By
integrating MicroED with NMR and computational modeling, we map
conformational landscapes of bioactive compounds.
