[IIGB_All] Please read - Update: Key/Fob Authorization

Dear everyone,

Good morning - We hope this message finds you well.
We'd like to share some important updates regarding fob/key authorization,
as part of our ongoing efforts to improve efficiency, security, and provide
more ease for users in managing the return of their keys and fobs.


   - We have an updated Key/Fob Authorization form (please see attached in
   this email or visit iigb.ucr.edu and go to resources to get the latest
   copy). This updated form includes details on how to properly return your
   keys and fobs at the conclusion of your appointment or use of the core
   facilities. Please note that to be in line with sustainability efforts, the
   IIGB Admin Office prefers electronic submissions of the Key/Fob
   Authorization form.
   - Once your appointment ends and you no longer need access to the core
   facilities, please drop off your fobs and keys at the admin office. When
   doing so, kindly provide your name, PI, and specify which door or area the
   keys were used for.
   - As part of Facilities' ongoing security enhancements, access is
   gradually shifting to R'Cards; Facilities is no longer providing blank
   fobs, so our supply is very limited. Once we run out, R'Cards will be used
   for access. Please note that your existing fobs will continue to work.
   However, we would appreciate your support to conserve our limited inventory
   and to align with Facilities' enhancements by switching your current fobs
   to R'Cards. If you welcome the idea, please feel free to drop by the IIGB
   Admin Office to update your access. We'll also be able to provide you with
   R'Card holders and lanyards (while supplies last).
