[IIGB_All] Invitation - CIDVR Symposium in honor of Professor Alexander Raikhel’s retirement

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

You are cordially invited to celebrate the 40-plus-year stellar career and
upcoming retirement of *Professor Alexander Raikhel *at a half-day
symposium in his honor on Friday, May 16, 2025. The event will take place
in the* UC Riverside Genomics Auditorium* and will feature presentations by
eminent vector biologists, coffee breaks, and an evening reception.

Please find the event schedule attached. We hope you’ve already registered
to join us in honoring one of the founding members of the Center for
Infectious Diseases and Vector Research—someone who has inspired so many
and served our community so well. It will be a wonderful opportunity to
