[IIGB_All] New confocal Lunch and Learn Jan 22: Get samples ready for in-house demo Jan 27-31

Dear microscopists,

We need to test this instrument with interesting samples and applications, so we might be able to get a grant for it.  We will have an upright demo system with lots of room under the lens, so we could even look at live samples on our vibratome.  

This instrument covers more colors more quickly and more cleanly than other instruments.  It should also be better for thicker and wider samples, especially with redder dyes (to 785nm).  Please join us at the lunch-and learn.  There will be cake.  

Please also sign up for a free 2-hour time slot, and let David know what kind of work you would like to try out on this powerful microscope.
