I am writing to inform you that the Biochemistry Department will be conducting two interviews for an Assistant Professor position in Metabolomics of Adaptive Responses.  One position is approved, and the second position could be discussed for consideration if the candidate is very strong. However, the second potential hire will be for another department yet to be determined.



I have been very involved and active in selecting these candidates as the positions were part of my hiring package at UCR.  Both candidates are very strong on paper.
