Assistant professor Plant Cell Biology
This is a position in the Plant Cell Biology group of Dr. Teun Munnik. Research is focusing on signaling processes involved in plant development and stress responses. Unlike the architecture of animals and humans, plants show spectacular flexibility in their development. Abiotic stress, including drought, salinization, heat and cold stress, have an enormous impact on plant growth and development. In particular the molecular machinery controlling the 3-D architecture of roots have our interest.
