[IIGB_All] Expansion of SoCAL symposiums

Dear colleagues,
Success of the last year's Plant Socal one-day symposium prompted me to reach out to you and inquire whether there is interest in organizing such a event in your respective disciplines.  If so, IIGB will support this worthy effort, that will be conducive to interaction and expansion of the scientific horizon of our community especially those of the junior members.
Please share your thoughts before too long.  Ample time is needed to reserve the auditorium and to plan budgeting for such a endeavor.
