Please join the IIGB community in congratulating Naoki Yamanaka, one of six scholars awarded the 18th Annual Japan Academy Medal at The Japan Academy general meeting.  Dr. Yamanaka was recognized for his research into the way that steroid hormones control insect growth and development.
