Dear all,



I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for electing me as incoming chair
of our Study Group. I am truly honored to serve in this role and I promise
to do my best to fulfill my duties and represent the interests of our team.



Gostaria de estender minha sincera apreciação a Cintia e Bernard, que se
candidataram a esta posição. Sua disposição em contribuir e sua dedicação
ao nosso grupo são louváveis. Acredito que cada um de vocês teria sido um
ótimo representante.


Este 2023, que conmemora el 30º aniversario del primer encuentro del Grupo
de Estudio en el Congreso de Montreal (1993), resulta justo reconocer la
labor de los anteriores coordinadores: William Summers (fundador y
coordinador entre 1993 y 2007), Walter A. Clark (2008-2013), Susan R.
Thomas (2014-2017), Jesús A. Ramos-Kittrell (2018), Ana R. Alonso-Minutti
(2019), Eduardo Herrera (2020), Ana Sánchez-Rojo (2021) , Juan Fernando
Velásquez Ospina (2022) y Vera Wolkowicz (2023).


Once again, thank you for entrusting me with this responsability. I am
excited about the opportunity to work together with all you and make a
positive impact.
