[iberoamericanmusiclist] IAMSG list: posting messages

Greetings to all IAMSG list members!

I'd like to remind you that any list member can post messages in the list,
as  long as they use the same email used for registration. Just send a
message to iberoamericanmusiclist at lists.ucr.edu

Messages related to research, concerts, celebrations, etc, are always
welcome and help us strengthen our community. Another important function of
the list is to provide us access to the collective wisdom. Feel free to ask
questions to the list!

Sometimes I receive a request to unblock a message, which happens when a
member uses an unregistered email. (Sorry Javier for the late unblocking of
your Thanksgiving message!!)
Let me know if you want to change your registered email or add another one.
That may be necessary if you changed institutions and continue to receive
forwarded messages from your previous email.

On a related note, I continue to be the contact person for the site
iamsg.ucr.edu and will make some much-needed updates in the incoming days.
Since the website is physically at the UCR server (like this list), it's
necessary that a UCR faculty manages it. The site does not need to be on a
UCR server, but that was the most convenient arrangement we could make at
that time, about 10 years ago. Maybe there are other options today.
