<span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial;color:#000000;font-weight:400">After students complete a writing assignment of the teacher's choice, teachers administer a short, online survey called The Writing Engagement Scale - WES. The researchers then compile
students' responses and send them back to teachers in an easy-to-read format (for both the whole class and for individual students). After reviewing the survey results, teachers respond to a brief questionnaire and share copies of student work with the research
team. Participating teachers receive a $100.00 gift card as a token of appreciation for administering the survey, providing copies of their students' work, and completing the teacher questionnaire. If you are interested, results of the study will be shared
