The UCR Basic Needs Department invites you to participate in Hunger and
Homelessness Awareness Week, happening November 17–21, 2025. This important
week highlights the challenges of food and housing insecurity among
students while encouraging action, awareness, and solidarity across campus.

We’d love your support in sharing these opportunities to get involved:

   -

   Nov. 17: H&H Awareness Tabling @ Bell Tower (10 AM – 2 PM)

   -

   Nov. 18: Beyond the Screen Discussion @ HUB 268 (4 – 5:30 PM) +
   ScottyEats @ The Den (10 PM)

   -

   Nov. 19: CalFresh Enrollment Party @ HUB 269 (12 – 2 PM) + R’Pantry
   Pop-Up (In Front of SSB)

   -

   Nov. 20: Workshop – How Homelessness Affects Your Well-Being @ HUB 367
   (2 – 4 PM)

   -

   Nov. 21: Food Drive (10 AM – 12 PM @ SSB) + Highlander Community Dinner
   (5 – 7 PM @ HUB 302)

for the Highlander
Community Dinner on Friday, November 21, from 5–7 PM in HUB 302. The dinner
is a celebration of our collective compassion and a moment to connect as a
campus community around the shared goal of meeting every Highlander’s basic
