In honor of National Foster Care Awareness Month, the Office of Foster Youth Support Services (FYSS) warmly invites you to attend our Annual Foster Youth Support Training on:

🕚 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Thank you for your continued interest in learning how to better support current and former foster youth at UC Riverside. This training is designed to empower you with best-practice strategies and inclusive approaches that you can apply in your role, whether you're an advisor, faculty member, student affairs professional, or advocate for student success.

What You Can Expect:

  *   Inspiring stories and insights from Guardian Scholars students and alumni
  *   Guidance from field experts on the unique barriers foster youth face in higher education
  *   Practical tools to enhance your support of foster youth both in and outside the classroom
  *   Opportunities to build community and deepen cross-campus collaboration

Lunch will be provided with registration, and we encourage you to arrive early as doors open at 11:00 AM. The presentation will begin promptly at 11:30 AM.

Who Should Attend?
This training is ideal for:

  *   Faculty and staff across all academic and student services departments
  *   Administrators and leadership committed to equity, access, and student retention
  *   Campus partners who interact with students impacted by foster care or housing instability
